Missing is a short film (BA Graduation Film) that tells a story about a serial killer who made a trap that lets her best friend a police officer know she is the serial killer that her friend is chasing.
I'm the production designer, SFX makeup artist, prosthetic and props maker and set decorator for this project.
The first time I knew Missing was director Ruitong found me. She said she need a very strong production designer for her film. At that time, she didn’t finish her first draft yet, so she grabbed a chair and told the story to me. I found it to be a challenging film about a complex relationship story between serial murder and police. I noticed they probably have a heavy work in this story, it could be a challenge for me, it motivates my interest and I think this film can help me to show my skills and help me to learn and to discovery the new skills.
