MAENAD

Maenad is a short film (BA Graduation Film) that tells a story between two friends and a cult.

I'm the SFX makeup artist and production manager for this project.

My response in SFX Makeup is making cult's mark for three characters in each shooting day.  I made three different marks with silicone prosthetics for this project. One mark for new marking which is fresh with bruises, and the other two marks for old marking, which are varying in timing and puss.

Processing of making marking:

Sculpturing - Making flat-moulds - UsingPlatsil Gel-10 silicone & Deadener & Silicone pigments to fill flat-moulds - Demoulding the silicone prosthetics - Repeat the previous steps ten more times  for making more prosthetics - Sticking the prosthetics on the actor's body - Using FX palette and flesh tone palette to coloring the prosthetic.

As a production manager, I assisted the producer to communicate with the crew and police officer. Also, I helped the producer to prepare food and water for each shooting day. I also respond to charging and managing all batteries.
